The Ford F series truck line has been America's choice for trucks since the first F series truck that was unveiled in 1948. Since then the F 150 has had nothing but stellar reviews over the years. The F 150 is known for being a so called "Tough" vehicle but has stepped that motto up now in 2010. The newest Ford F150 rises to the challenge of tough jobs, featuring a fully boxed frame constructed with hydro-formed and high strength steel side rails for increased durability and safety. The sturdy chassis also delivers class-leading towing and hauling capability across all cab configurations. Thanks to the strength of the frame and comprehensive package of standard safety equipment, including side-curtain air bags, the new F-150 earned top safety ratings from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

The interior of the 2010 F-150 SuperCrew offers an incredible amount of space for moving people and gear thanks to a stretched cab for better rear seat legroom and cargo capacity. A mechanically articulated second-row seat flips up and out of the way for remarkably easy access. Combined with a truly flat load floor, the new SuperCrew has a class-leading 57.6 cubic feet of space behind the front seats and can accommodate items up to 47.9 inches tall. Now imagine what you could fit on the inside of your truck, having all that room. The F 150 has been America best selling truck for some time now, but in the past it has been a one size fits all kind of truck. Well that is not the case anymore; this time around Ford engineers designed a truck that offers more choice for buyers, enabling the F-150 to meet the widest range of customer needs and wants - all delivered with quality. Customers can now choose from the XL workhorse, to the sporty STX and off-road capable FX4, to the mid-range XLT. For those looking for tough luxury, Ford offers the high-end Lariat and King Ranch F-150 models.

Under the hood, F-150 is offered with
a choice of three modern V-8 engines, mated to either a four-speed or a fuel-efficient six-speed automatic transmission. The choices are a 5.4-liter, three-valve
Triton V-8, which has been enhanced for better performance with more horsepower
and torque, and is capable of running on E85 (85 percent ethanol and 15 percent
gasoline), regular unleaded gasoline or any blend in between. The F 150 also
offers a 4.6-liter, three-valve V-8, capable of returning 15 mpg city/ 21
highway, and a 4.6-liter, two-valve V-8, a third V-8 choice in the line-up that
delivers more horsepower with the same fuel economy as F-150's previous V-6.
The SFE F-150 which was the best mileage winner is no longer a separate model
for 2010; the efficiency enhancements found on SFE have been integrated
throughout the lineup, permitting an expanded selection of fuel-efficient
F-150s. In fact, all 2010 F-150 4x2 trucks equipped with the 4.6L three-valve
V-8 engine now achieve the 15 mpg city/21 highway fuel economy previously
limited to SFE models. The 2010 F 150 also has upgraded a lot of its interior
features, a new nice item is the flow-through console large enough to stow two
laptop computers. Also special ridges are molded into the edges of the bin to
accommodate file folders. The console also has a multi-tiered, removable tray
and locks to protect valuables. That now gives you two lines of defense against
your valuables be stolen. More than 30 storage areas are built into the
interior, ranging from a bin on the top of the instrument
panel to a number of small spaces designed to accommodate tools like cell
phones, wallets, PDAs and other valuables.
For the rest of you who need a truck with just a little bit
more toughness, Ford doesn't stop at the F 150. The all new Super Duty trucks
are stronger than ever. For 2010 Ford Super Duty trucks there are six available
engines. The
5.4Ltr EFI Triton V-8 Engine produces 260 hp at 4500 rpm and 350 LB ft of
torque @ 2500 rpm is standard on the Super Duty F-250 / F-350 King Ranch
Edition and option on all other models. Standard in
the new 2010 Ford Super Duty King Ranch F-150's interior is quad captain's
chairs, front and rear center consoles in leather. SuperCab includes rear
bench. The new 2010 Ford Super Duty King Ranch model is the front captain's
chairs which include manual lumbar support for driver and front passenger,
heated driver and front passenger seat backs and cushions. In its third year of
the current body style, the F-250/350 gets new trim options, the
Lariat Highline Edition is available on the SuperCab, and, for you out there, a
Lariat Outlaw Package is an option on Crew Cab models. The Harley-Davidson
models can have three flame treatments. Mechanically, a 4.10:1 non-limited-slip
axle is now standard on the F-250 and single-rear-wheel F-350 with the
5.4-liter Triton V-8. The F-250 also offers unique amenities such as a
supplemental cab heater, a reverse camera system, upfitter switches, a
navigation system, a rear seat DVD entertainment system, satellite radio, SYNC,
a rear folding tailgate step and a trailer brake controller. SYNC may be Fords
newest best innovation in a while. Sync uses USB ports and Bluetooth wireless
connectivity to link phones, media players, and other devices to the truck's
system. If being on the road is your job title, these trucks may fit you better
then you know, Ford's Work Solutions system provides facilities for GPS
linking; add a laptop and printer and your truck is a rolling office. If you
are looking for a truck to purchase to haul your construction employees around
in you have found the right place. The Super Duty line can haul from one to
three tons. It can tow from three tons to more than 12 tons. It can carry three
to six real-world people with room to spare.

If the above trucks are still not enough and you want the bull of the group
the Ford F 450 may be the truck for you. The 2010
Ford F-450 offers a 300-horsepower, 5.4-liter V-8; a 362-horsepower, 6.8-liter
V-10, and a 350-horsepower, 6.4-liter diesel V-8. These big motors are mated to
a five- or six-speed automatic transmission. Payload capacity is a huge 5,830
to 6,180 pounds, and you can tow a fleet of vehicles with the 16,000 - 24,600
pound tow rating; the best equipped Dodge Ram and Chevrolet Silverado models
don't even compare to that. A very nice feature on this truck is the Ford Work
Solutions package which features an in-dash computer with high speed wireless
accessories. This includes Cable Lock, which keeps the tools safe, while Tool
Link works with you to keep track of your tools. Safety features include
antilock brakes, dual front airbags, and available traction control which help
keep the driver in command and keeps everyone on the roads safe. A fully-boxed
frame, big engines, and available leather seating make this a complete
super-duty package. The Ford Work Solutions suite makes this simply the most
versatile, capable full-size-plus pickup on the market, along with the rest of
Ford's F-series.
